Tussen 26 en 28 maart 2026 vond in Sarajevo de BOSEPO (Bosnia and Herzegovina Olympiad of Science Projects) plaats. Tijdens deze internationale wetenschapsolympiade hebben onze leerlingen een indrukwekkend resultaat behaald. Van 1 tot 5 mei 2025 vond in Litouwen de internationale milieuprojectolympiade VILIPO plaats. Leerlingen van over de hele wereld presenteerden hun creatieve en duurzame oplossingen voor milieuproblemen. Op 1 juli, tijdens de afsluiting van hun project over slavernij en het vieren van Keti Koti, kreeg Basisschool Wereldwijs als eerste school in Rotterdam de eervolle titel ‘Fairtrade School’ uitgereikt. Tijdens de Kinderboekenweek hadden wij een heel speciale gast, namelijk de wethouder van Onderwijs in Rotterdam: de heer Said Kasmi. Een wethouder bestuurt samen met de burgemeester en andere mensen de gemeente; zij zorgen dat alles goed verloopt.
